Southampton has five dedicated cruise terminals across the Eastern and Western Docks. Use the terminal on your cruise confirmation and check for updates before travel. Do not choose Southampton Airport or a generic city-centre address.

Plan backwards from the check-in slot on your boarding documents. Allow for the road journey, traffic delays and port access. Follow your cruise line’s allocated arrival time; arriving very early may mean waiting before you can enter or board.

Book around the expected time you will be off the ship with your bags. A ship’s arrival time is not your collection time. Keep your phone available and follow the agreed meeting instructions after luggage reclaim and any entry formalities.

Add the return date, disembarkation terminal, expected collection time and destination. Check luggage and passenger numbers for both directions, and contact us promptly if your ship or terminal changes.

Agree the return meeting point and waiting allowance in advance. Extra waiting or a changed journey may cost more. We normally cancel and refund with at least 24 hours’ notice unless your confirmation says otherwise; late cancellation or a dispatched vehicle may incur charges.

Can you collect from Gatwick or Heathrow for a Southampton cruise?
