Best booking information: send the full hall or building name, postcode, passenger count, number of cases and a working mobile number. A university name alone can cover several buildings and entrances.

Main student pickup areas

FALMER

University of Sussex

Campus reference
Falmer, Brighton BN1 9RH

Give the residence, school or named campus meeting point. Falmer is a large site, and a vague “main entrance” can send passenger and driver to different places.

MOULESECOOMB

University of Brighton

Campus reference
Lewes Road, Brighton BN2 4GJ

Share the exact building or hall. University of Brighton also has facilities in other locations, so confirm the campus before booking.

CITY CENTRE

Private halls and shared houses

For central Brighton, London Road, Lewes Road, Moulsecoomb, Coldean and Kemptown, provide the complete address and a safe roadside meeting point.

RAIL ARRIVAL

Brighton Station

For a pre-booked pickup, follow the confirmation. The usual suggested point is the rear station car park on Stroudley Road, BN1 4LF. Read the station pickup guide.

Move-in and move-out day

A taxi can carry normal passenger luggage within the booked vehicle capacity, but it is not a removal van. Photograph or count the cases before booking and mention bulky items such as a bicycle, monitor, musical instrument or storage boxes. If belongings will not fit safely, arrange a suitable removal service.

Child seats: Sussex Airports Taxis cannot currently supply child seats. If a younger sibling is travelling, the family must plan appropriately and discuss the journey before booking.

Late-night student travel

Pre-booked journeys are available 24/7 subject to confirmed vehicle availability. This is not an on-demand street-hail promise.

Parents booking from overseas

A parent can request and pay for a journey, but the passenger must still have the pickup instructions and a reachable phone. Send both the student’s local contact number and the payer’s details. A payment link can be requested; cash or card can also be paid to the driver.

Send the bags, building and flight details once

We will quote for the route and vehicle you actually need — campus, hall, station, airport or home.
